Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be a student at Sun Ray Aviation to rent?

No. While we partner with Sun Ray for instruction, Blue Wings is an independent rental operation. Any qualified pilot who passes our checkout can rent N33483.

Is fuel included in the hourly rate?

Yes, our $170/hr rate is completely wet. We cover all fuel and oil costs.

Can I take the aircraft overnight?

Absolutely. We encourage cross-country exploration. We simply require a daily minimum of 2.0 flight hours for multi-day rentals.
